Leon B Hedrick

Leon Banks Hedrick, 94, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Sandy Young officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home.

Mr. Hedrick was born in Davidson County on June 2, 1928, to David Ottis Hedrick and Ester Hedrick Hedrick. He was a retired salesman, having worked for Lexington Motor Company for many years, and had previously worked for Burlington Industries – Greensboro. Mr. Hedrick proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of Davis Townsend High School. He was a loving husband whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Olin David Hedrick; and his sister, Evelyn Hedrick Oates.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ruth Jenkins Hedrick; and a host of extended family and friends.
