Leon Little

Everett Leon Little, age 91 of Jerusalem Road, Lexington went home to be with his Lord Monday, March 9, 2009 at his home after a sudden illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Silver Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Little and Rev. Leverne Little officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Little was born May 11, 1917 in Columbus County to James Everett Little and Mattie Mills Little. A retired employee of Link Taylor, he was a member of Silver Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annie Ruth Smith Little of the home; five sons, Gary Little of the home, Leon Leverne Little and wife Brenda, Gene Little and wife Carol, Steve Little and wife Donna , Joseph Little and wife Karen all of Lexington ; two daughters, Eula Ann Little Gabard and husband Gary, and Frances Little Bullens and husband Robert of Lexington; 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a sister, Bertha Mae Stevens of Thomasville, NC The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home. Memorials in Mr. Little’s memory may be directed to Silver Valley Baptist Church, 187 Old Willowmore Springs Road, Lexington, N.C. 27292
