Leonard Andrew Williams

Leonard Andrew Williams, Jr., age 77 of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home.

A visitation will be held 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, NC and burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Salisbury National Cemetery with honors.

Leonard was born on September 24, 1943 in Durham County, NC to Leonard Andrew Williams and Edith Josephine Jones Williams.  He retired as a supervisor with Morton Metal and was a member of Memorial Evangelical and Reformed Church.  Leonard proudly served in the United States Army and was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie Fay Williams; grandson, Michael A. Williams Jr. and a sister, Marlene Harmon.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Lanny Johnson (Nancy); brother, Jay Whitcomb (Sue); sister, Johanne Byerly; 3 grandchildren, Alan Johnson, Lisa Hege, Tammy Barnes and 3 great-grandchildren, Emma Everhart Beck, Savannah Barnes and Shane Williams, 3 great great- grandchildren, Asher Williams, Ava Williams and Erik Monell.
