Lester William Goforth

Lester William Goforth, 63, of Goforth Lake Road, died Friday, September 05, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2014, at Reeds Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 7, and other times at the home. Mr. Goforth was born November 3, 1950, in Davidson County, to Carlos Layton Goforth and Ruby Lea Weaver Goforth. He was a brick mason for Koontz Masonry and a member of Reeds Baptist Church. His father preceded him in death Surviving in addition to his mother of Lexington are son, Travis Goforth and wife Brittny of Lexington; daughters, April Smith and husband James and Heather Adkins and husband Bruce, all of Lexington; four grandchildren, Saylor and Sawyer Adkins, Gauge Goforth and Christian Smith; sister, Patricia Wright and husband Ricky of Lexington; niece, Caitlin Cartrette and husband Brent; and great-niece, Jayden Cartrette.
