Lester Hatfield, born November 22, 1951 of Matewan, WV, passed away at his home November 4, 2021.

Les was a retired coal miner and direct descendant of the Hatfield family.

He is survived by his loving wife  Linda Hatfield of Clemmons, NC, and daughters  Leslie (Don) Harlow Falmouth, Ky, Misty (Brian) Buchanan of Kernersville, NC, Carrie (Chris) Ray of Winston Salem NC and  Shelia (Jason) Long, whom  he loved like his own daughter .

The greatest joys in his life were his grandsons: Will Harlow, Mason Ray, Gabe Buchanan, Cole Harlow, Cristian Long, Cayden Long, Ian Long and Alex Long and his granddaughters: Madison Harlow, Harper Ray, Paige Buchanan, Bella Ray, Kaley (Michael) McDonald and Olivia Long . He has two surviving sisters Gypsy (Kevin) Hatfield of Winston Salem, NC and Ann Hatfield of Richmond, Ky and last but not least his beloved Labrador Moses.

He will be forever missed and remembered by all that loved him.
