Lewis Franklin Goss

Lewis Franklin Goss of Lexington peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home on January 21, 2025. He was born January 16, 1948 to John Franklin Goss and Louise Myers Goss. Lewis retired from PPG Industries. He loved his family, his farm, and was an avid sportsman.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie (“Lou”) Goss and his son, Bryan Keith Goss.

Left to cherish their memories are his daughter, Michelle Beck, and husband Brad, of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tanner Beck, Hannah Beck, and Jessica Goss; his extended family, Kathy Everhart, Melissa Purdue (Timmy), Jake Everhart, Josh Everhart, Brooke Lampley, Dylan Hobbs, Avery Purdue, Zac Purdue; and his cousin, Suzanne Byars (Randy) who was the sister he never had.

Michelle and Brad would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Neurology ICU and Palliative Care, Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, for their expert care, support, and love.

The family will receive friends 5pm to 7pm Friday, January 24 at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will scatter his ashes on his beloved farm at a later date.
