Libby Thomason Lopp

Elizabeth "Libby" Thomason Lopp, age 77 of Becks Nursery, Lexington passed away Thursday at Hinkle Hospice House after several years of declining health.

A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Antioch Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Gavin Pratt officiating.  The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the service.

Libby, as she was known was born in Davidson County, August 25, 1949, to James Alex Thomason and Jeraldine Hedrick Thomason.  She worked most of her life for Lexington Furniture and Stanley Furniture.  She attended North Lexington Baptist Church when she was able.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Lee Lopp and a sister, Jeanette Cooper.

Surviving are her sons, Chad and Wesley Lopp both of Lexington, granddaughter, Christina Berrier and great-granddaughter, Isabella Berrier and her special companion canine "Buddy" and numerous nieces and nephews.
