Lillian Lenora Todd, age 71 of Winston Salem, passed away July 17, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 21, 2014 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Gavin Pratt. No formal visitation will be held. The family would like to thank all those that have prayed and been very thoughtful during this difficult time. “God takes the Best” God saw she was getting tired, A cure was not to be, So he put his arms around her, and whispered, “Come with Me.” With tearful eyes we watch her suffer, and saw her fade away; Although we loved her dearly, We couldn’t ask her to stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to; Got touched our hearts, and proved to us, He only takes the Best! Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
