Lillie Mae Hedrick

Lillie Mae Shoemaker Hedrick, age 92 of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Texas Drive passed away Saturday afternoon (6-27-2009).  Graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday (6-29-2009) in the Lexington City Cemetery.   Lillie was born in Iredell County, NC May 11, 1917 to Israel Sanford Shoemaker and Ellen Templeton Shoemaker.  She was a member of Grassy Knob Baptist Church in Union Grove.  She was a former employee of Breyer/Sealtest. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Odell Hedrick on February 25, 1999, two daughters Alma Joan Myers and Thelma Key Brown and all of her brothers and sisters.   Surviving are: two daughters, Shelby Jean Brewer and husband Donald of Lugoff, SC and Hilda Truell and husband Jimmy of Lexington; one son, Leonard Myers and wife Brenda of Denton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 3:00 until 4:00 pm prior to the service and at other times at their respective homes.   Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA  23058-5216 or donors choice.       Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
