Linda Smith Barefoot

Linda Smith Barefoot, age 70 of Owens Road, Lexington passed away Sunday evening (April 26, 2015) at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday (April 29, 2015) at Becks Lutheran Church with The Rev. Angie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Becks Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday night. Linda was born in Davidson County, February 26, 1945 to Ernest and Kathleen Burkhart Smith. She was a member of Becks Lutheran Church. She was an OB Technician with Lexington Memorial Hospital and retired after 43 years of service. The family would also like to remember here many friends and co-workers at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Charles Barefoot. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Mack” Barefoot of the home; a brother, Larry B. Smith (Brenda) of Lexington; niece, Amy Miller (Brad), great niece and nephew, Cadie and Cody Miller all of Lexington.
