Linda Koonts Church

Linda Sue Koonts Church, 80, of Linwood, passed away May 30, 2024, at her home in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Salisbury National

Cemetery, with the Rev. Sandy Young officiating the service. The family will see friends from 8:30 am to 9:00 am Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home.

Linda was born March 12, 1944, in Davidson County, to Clyde Eugene Koonts and Helen Easter Koonts. Linda was a devoted Christian and was of the Methodist Faith. She was the retired owner and operator of her beauty shop. Her passion was her faith, family, especially her grandchildren. She loved family time, animals; especially her dogs, loved to collect things, but most of all spending time working and talking to her customers in her shop.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Alexander Church Jr., who died in 2008; her daughter, Selina Church Steele and her brother, Max Koonts.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Victor Lee Church (Angela); her daughter, Helen Church Kemp (Ed E.), both of Linwood, and her 7 grandchildren.
