Linda Grimes Davis

Linda Grimes Davis, 73, of Lexington passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Monday at Hanes Baptist Church with pastor Jason Holley officiating.

Linda was born in Wilkes County on March 7, 1949, to Oliver Lee Grimes and Beatrice Rhodes Grimes. She worked in food service and was a loving companion, mother, sister, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lewis Davis, her brothers, Robert Lee Grimes, Charlie Junior Grimes, Billy Joe Grimes, and Roger Lee Grimes.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving companion of 40 years, Danny Byrd; her children, Missy Spease (Brian), Billy Davis (Shawn), and Chris Davis; her siblings, Barbara Ann Clark, Stella Parrish, and Oliver Jerry Grimes (Billie); four grandchildrenen, Seth Spease, Aaron Spease, Chasady Davis, and Christy Davis; and her precious furbaby, Jitterbug.
