Linda Vaughn Freeman

Linda Vaughn Freeman, 78, of Wintergreen Court in Lexington, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday June 30, 2021.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday July 7, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee and Pastor Michael Gates conducting services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday at the Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree location.

Mrs. Freeman was born January 15, 1943 in Guilford County to James “JD” David Vaughn and Hazel Louise Rose Hunt. Linda enjoyed yard selling in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents and a still born son Jimmy Freeman; her grandparents, Jesse and Mary Jane Rose and a son-in-law Rodney Leonard.

Surviving is her husband Danny Freeman of the home; her son Jon Freeman (Teri) of Lexington_;two daughters Dana Leonard of Lexington and Kim Koontz of Lexington; one brother, Wesley Vaughn (Jane) of Georgia; one sister Patty Johnson (Clarence) of Reeds; 7 grand children,Cheryl (Travis), Aaron (Jenn), Shane (Emiline) Noah (McKayla), Will (Beka), Faith (Matthew), David (Shayna) and 7 great-grandchildren, Brook, Gracey, Ryan, Collin, Laken, Lorali, and Paisley Mae.
