Linda Gail Brooks Evans

Linda Gail Brooks Evans 64 passed away Thursday afternoon September 1, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 6th 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Pastor Garness Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Linda was born in Surry County to Harlis Brooks and Darsie Jackson Brooks. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and had worked at Emerson Power Technologies. Surviving are her parents of Winston-Salem Harlis and Darsie Brooks; a daughter, Amanda Evans Hilton of Pine Hall; brothers, Gary Brooks (Lisa) of Walnut Cove, Greg Brooks of Winston-Salem; a sister, Shena Marshall (Jim) of Wallburg.
