Linda Michael Green

Linda Michael Green, 71, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2026, at Hillside Park Baptist in Thomasville with Rev. Steve Chipps officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.

Linda was born on February 4, 1955, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to the late Jimmy Donald Michael and Martha Whittington Michael. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda worked as a preschool teacher at the First Baptist Church Child Care Center, where she enjoyed caring for and spending time with children. She will be remembered for her kind heart, caring spirit, and the love she had for her family.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Green and his wife Jennifer.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Ricky Lane Green; her son, Brent Green and wife, Lynnette; and her grandchild, Frank Green and his fiancé, Hailee Shrewsbury; her sister, Donna Torrence and husband, David; sisters in law, Robin (Craig) Cagle and Crystal (Rick) Truell; nieces, Wendy (Heath Rumfelt), Meredith Pitt, Lauren (Johnnie) Hulin, and Keelie Truell; and great nieces and nephews.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
