Linda Helms

Linda Hegler Helms, 69, of Longbranch Trail passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 9, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee and Rev. LeRoy Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.  Mrs. Helms was born August 1, 1948 in Davidson County to Paul Isaiah Hegler and Myrtle Pope Hegler. She was owner of A-1 Moble Home & Pest Control and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in China Grove.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Jefferson Werlie Helms; her son, Johnny Eugene Young, and her daughter, Tracy Young; two brothers; Paul Hegler Jr., Roger Dale Hegler and sister, Patricia Hegler Marion.  Surviving are step-son, Jeff Helms; step-daughter, Cheryl Laxton; three grandchildren, Brian Laxton, Mack Walker, Scout Walker, and a sister,  Barbara H.
