Linda Patterson Horton

Linda Elizabeth Patterson Horton, 74, of Mercado Lane in Lexington, passed away Thursday October 20, 2022 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Robinson officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home of her sister at 158 Andrew Sink Road in Lexington.

Mrs. Horton was born October 14, 1948 in Darlington County South Carolina to Howard Leon Patterson  and Mabel Gladys Thames Patterson.  Linda enjoyed spending time at the beach and attending GWRRA Rally’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandchild, Crystal Dibella and a brother-in-law Frank Wayne Williams Sr.

Surviving is her husband, John Luther Horton Jr., of the home; two sons, Richard Dibella (Beverly) of Georgia and Scott Ryan Oakes (Tina) of Lexington; one brother, Howard Leon Patterson Jr. (Teri) of Florida ; two sisters Patricia Hodges (Maurice) of Lexington and Nancy Williams  of Lexington; and 7 grandchildren, Aleshia Cornelius (Noah), Ryane Nicole Oakes, Kamryn Oakes, Lauren Preskitt, James Preskitt, Sandy Wyatt and Jeff Horton.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Hospice of Davidson County for their loving care they offered to Linda.
