Linda Leonard

Linda Harvey Leonard, age 66, of Briggstown Road, Lexington passed away Saturday (Dec. 24, 2011) at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday (Dec. 30, 2011) in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel will Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday night at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington. Linda was born in Davidson County, January 8, 1945, to Hayes Henry Harvey, Sr. and Effie Poston Harvey. She was an employee of Lexington Home Brands, Upholstery Division for 30 years; and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Betty Rose Griffin; and brother, Jimmy Harvey. Surviving are her husband, L. “Buddy” Leonard of the home; two sons, Jeff Leonard and wife, Luann, of Lexington, and Chris Leonard and wife, Elisha, of Raleigh; three grandsons, Matthew, Adam and Brandon Leonard; sisters, Carol MacDonald of Greensboro, Lib Phillips of Pleasant Garden, Hazeline Davis, Alice Snider and Mary Forrest, all of Lexington and Vicki Bemisderfer of Rocky Mount; and brother, Tommy Harvey of Elkin.
