Linda Gray Whicker Renken

Linda Gray Renken, 81, of Lexington, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Linda was born on April 22, 1945, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Kenneth Gray and Virginia Elizabeth Keen Whicker.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner, and friend whose kindness, love, and strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the lasting memories she created with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Renken; and her brother, Kenneth Whicker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jimmy Renken, Jeff Renken, and Chris Renken; her daughter, Dawn Floyd; her brother, Richard Whicker; and her beloved partner and devoted caregiver of more than 30 years, Tony Woodard. She also leaves behind her five cherished grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held at a later date.
