Linda Gayle Sipes

Linda Gayle Sipes, 59, of Linwood Southmont Road, died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug McGee. Burial will follow at Jersey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Sipes was born December 25, 1951, in Rowan County to Albert Waller and Georgia Waller. She was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Sipes. Surviving are her loving husband, Larry Steven Sipes of the home; daughters, Paula Sipes Rouse and husband, Frank Jr. “FL”, and Daisy Lynn Sipes, all of Lexington; brothers, Bobby Waller, David Waller, and James Waller and wife, Jacky, all of Salisbury; and sister, Diane Taylor and husband, Charles, of Salisbury.
