ARCADIA | Linda Kay Hanes Sullivan, 60, of Welcome-Arcadia Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at her home after a sudden illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, by Dr. Mike Duffield. Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery in Clemmons.
Mrs. Sullivan was born May 21, 1946, in Davidson County to Lacy Franklin Hanes and Ella Byerly Hanes. She was of the Christian faith and worked with B.E. Aerospace for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Aaron "Cowboy" Sullivan of the home; her mother of Arcadia; one son, Richard Sink and his wife, Sharon, and a daughter, Ronda Kay Sink Swaim, both of Arcadia; a granddaughter, Miranda Kay Swaim; two stepsons, Charles Sullivan Jr. and Danny Sullivan; a brother, Lacy E. Hanes Jr. and his wife, Emma Sue, and one sister, Becky Hill and her husband, David, all of Arcadia; two nephews, Chris Hill and Jeffery Hill; and three nieces, Staci Hanes, Tabitha Leonard and Randi Leonard.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at the funeral home.
