Linda Westbrook

Linda Mae Tysinger Westbrook, 61, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at her home in Pearisburg. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Jeff York. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Westbrook was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Statesville, N.C., to Joseph C. Tysinger and Dessie Mae Combs Tysinger of Southmont, N.C. She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Christine T. Hege; and a brother, Arthur Tysinger. Mrs. Westbrook is survived by her mother; her husband, Joseph Carroll Westbrook of Pearisburg; a daughter, Sherry Lynette Westbrook of Narrows; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey Glade and Delsie Westbrook of Rich Creek, Randall S. and Teresa Westbrook of Pearisburg, and Jody S. and Candis Westbrook of Narrows; three brothers, Cecil Tysinger, Niles Tysinger and Allen Tysinger, all of Southmont, N.C., and five grandchildren, Hannah Westbrook, Savannah Westbrook, Michael Westbrook, Falon Westbrook and Christina Westbrook. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 at Davidson Funeral Home.
