Lindsay Younts

Charles Lindsay Younts, age 93 of Eastview Drive, Lexington passed away Wednesday at his home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Becks Reformed Church with Rev. James Byers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by Davidson County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday. Lindsay was born in Davidson County, February 6, 1920 to Walter Grant Younts and Mary Lohr Younts. He was a retired self employed farmer and logger and a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army Air Corp. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruby Hedrick Younts; sister, Mildred Younts Craver; brothers, Willis “Toby” Younts and Robert Bruce Younts. Surviving are; his daughters, Ann Wilkes (Jimmy) and Jane Hayes (Tim) both of Lexington; sons, Charles Younts and Robert Younts (Juli) both of Lexington; grandchildren, Audrey Surratt, Sarah Klingsmith, Chris Younts, Clayton Younts, Tracy Ward, William Hayes, Linzy Hayes, Andrew Younts, Stefanie Lanier and Matthew Younts; great-grandchildren, Blake, Molly. Johnathon, Nicholas, Jacob, Alexander, Madison, Grace, Abby, Eliana, Claire, Kaitlyn, P.J. and Sammi; sister, Laura Younts Surratt; brother, Walter Lohr Younts. The family would like to thank Hospice of Davidson County and Advanced Home Care for all the love and support given to our loved one during his illness.
