Linia Pearl Coleman Ikner, 83, of Linwood, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Josh Sellers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Pearl was born on October 7, 1941 in Columbus County, NC the late Glimpsy McQueen Coleman and Geneva Bertha Wilson Coleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Clayleen Max Potter; two grandsons, Taylor Bryce Ikner and Phillip Matthew Leonard; brothers, Earl Coleman and Glimpsy Coleman, and two sisters, Floral Belle Boan and Shirley Lang.
In her younger days, Pearl found joy and creativity working as a talented hairdresser, bringing smiles and confidence to countless clients and friends. Pearl also had a love for reading novels and a love for music. She enjoyed sharing her gift of singing and playing guitar at her church, Lexington Pentecostal Church of the Living God. Most of all, she dearly loved and cherished spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 64 years, Palmer Ikner; sons, Ron (Donna) Ikner and Marshall (Tammy) Ikner; daughter, Renae (James) Davis; brother, Billy (Beverly) Coleman; sister, Bonnie Morris; grandchildren, Logan Ikner, Charity Smith, Max Leonard, Summer Fleming, Drew (Eden) Fleming, Savannah Ikner, LaraBeth Ikner, and six great-grandchildren.
