Lisa Marie Epley

Lisa Marie Epley, a beloved member of the Lexington, NC community, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on Tuesday, October 26th, 1965, in Redwood County, Minnesota, Lisa was known for her warm heart and dedication to nurturing the children in her care.

Lisa married the love of her life, Gregory Paul Epley. She spent her professional life working in childcare at Coggins Memorial Church, where her love for children and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her kindness and patience touched the lives of many families and her colleagues, who all appreciated her dedication and compassion.

Lisa was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard Cady and Donna Risse Cady. She cherished their memories and often spoke fondly of the love and guidance they bestowed upon her throughout her life.

Surviving family members include her husband Greg Epley, brother Mike Cady of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, Mother in Law Barbara Epley of Lexington, Brother in Law Allan Epley (Lorie) of Supply, North Carolina, and numerous Aunts and Uncles in Minnesota.

A resident of Lexington, NC, Lisa was an active and cherished member of 1st Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her laughter, and the deep love she shared with her friends and family. She was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings, she loved Disney Animated films and enjoyed listening to Prince.

Arrangements for Lisa Marie Epley are being handled by Davidson Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held in her honor, details of which will be released by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to the Martha Best Children's Center at First Baptist Church, 201 W. 3rd Ave., Lexington, NC 27292, a cause Lisa was deeply passionate about.

Lisa's warm presence will be missed by all who knew her, but she leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will endure in the hearts of many. May she rest in peace.
