Lisa Gail Mcbride Milton

Lisa Gail McBride Milton, 53, of Green Meadows Drive, went to be with her Savior on Monday, September 9, 2013, at her home. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013, at National Cemetery, Salisbury, with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Milton was born July 13, 1960, in Davidson County, to Russell McBride and Gwendolyn Bishop McBride. She was a self employed hairdresser and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her beloved mother she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Viola Bishop. Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 23 years, Dane Milton of the home; her father of Lexington; brother, Gregory R. McBride and wife Cathy; brothers-in-law, Mark Skeen and wife, Alice, Robert Skeen and wife, Shane, Jay Skeen and wife, Teresa, and Daryl Milton and wife, Jennifer; nieces and nephews, Stacy Crouse and husband, Cleve, Chanel McBride, Ryan Skeen, Logan Milton, Brandon Milton, Christopher Skeen, Kayla Collett, and Audrey Skeen, and Alea Skeen; very special nephew, Mason, whom she loved very much; two of her favorite people, her aunts, Sandra Gregiore and Rita Touchstone; and her loving canine companions, Banditt and Sarah. Lisa, you will always be in our hearts, forever.
