Lloyd Chadwick

Fred Lloyd Chadwick, 69, of N.C. Highway 150 South, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at his home. The funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a member, conducted by the Rev. David Robinson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Chadwick was born March 24, 1938, in Macon County to Samuel and Blanche Holt Chadwick. He was retired from Lexington Home Brands. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clora Dyer Chadwick; one brother, Fred; and one sister, Emma Lee. He is survived by two daughters, Zona Gail Chadwick Wilson and her husband, Roger, of Shelby, and Tricia Chadwick Clark and her husband, Larry, of Salisbury; grandchildren, Allison Wilson Martin and her husband, Scott, of Cesar, Ian Wilson of Shelby, Michaela Clark Varga and her husband, Ryan, of San Antonio, Texas, and Alicia Clark of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Curtis Martin of Cesar, Gianna Riley Varga of San Antonio and Ethan Wayne Clark of Salisbury; two brothers, Luther and his wife, Linda, and Edward; seven sisters, Lucy, Bessie, Mary, Dorothy and her husband, Robert, Minnie and her husband, Sam, Betty and Kathryn and her husband, Forrest; and a beloved friend, Lois Duncan of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church and at other times at the home on N.C. Highway 150 South.
