Lloyd Grayson Shoun

Lloyd Grayson Shoun Sr., age 83 of Winston Salem passed away at his home Thursday, September 10, 2015. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, September 14, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow to Westlawn Garden of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Lloyd was born July 21, 1932 in Wilkes County to Isaac Finley Shoun and Rebecca Griffin Shoun. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict and attended Wallburg Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Alice Valley Blevins Shoun. Surviving are his sons; Lloyd Grayson Shoun Jr. ( Susan) of King, Dennis M. Bauguess (Allison) of Pilot Mountain, daughters; Anna Bauguess Tysinger (Michael) and Theresa Edwards (Billy) all of Winston Salem, Sherry Bauguess Presley (Eddie) of Arcadia and Pamela Laws (Francis) of King, Nine Grandchildren and six great grandchildren, brother, Brock Griffin of Winston Salem, sisters; Ruby Beshears of Winston Salem, Lola Tolley of Yadkinville and Virgie Mair of Myrtle Beach. The family would like memorials sent to: Hospice & Palliative Care Centers of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
