Lois Ruth Morton Boysworth

Lois Ruth Morton Boysworth, 81, of Alston Brook Nursing Home passed away Thursday April 1, 2010 at the nursing home. The funeral will be 2 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Greene and burial to follow at Randall United Methodist Church Cemetery in Norwood, NC. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 1-2 pm Saturday prior to the service and other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Trudy on Riverview Road Ext., Lexington Mrs. Boysworth was born in Anson County, February 15, 1929, to Willie Stacy Morton and Rosa Lewis Morton. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her parents and husband, Theodore Alonzo Boysworth preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were son, Darrell Richard Boysworth; brothers, Blair, Aston, Dennis and Thomas Morton; and sisters, Esther Colson, Nannie Marsh, Annie Marsh and Mollie Oliver. Surviving are her son, Ted Boysworth Jr. and wife, Mary, of Conyers, Georgia; a daughter, Trudy Nance and husband, Richard, of Lexington; grandchildren, T.A. Boysworth III of Marion, NC, Layla Taylor of Thomasville and Robyn Taylor of Lexington; one great granddaughter, Morgan Dial of Thomasville; three sisters, Cassie Lett of Laurinburg, Agnes Gay of Wadesboro and Stacy Vick of Norwood. The family would like to thank the staff of Alston Brook Nursing Center for the love and kindness shown to Lois and her family.
