Lois Louise Cross Kimbrell, 81, W. Holly Grove Road, Lexington, died Friday at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 17, 2006 at Lexington City Cemetery by
Rev. Charlie Collins and Rev. Charles Moses
She was born August 19, 1924 in Davidson County to Peter Lee Cross and Nannie Marie Hulin Cross. She retired from PPG Industries and attended Denton Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her companion of 45 years, William Monroe Lee; four brothers, James Cross, Edward Cross, Joseph Cross, and Jake Cross; and five sisters, Blanche Painter, Madaline Cross, Janet Burkholder, Edna Palmer, and Etta Burkhart.
She is survived by a son, Charles Ray Kimbrell and wife, Mary of Denton; a daughter, Carolyn Lee Kimbrell Hilz and husband, Jimmy of Caddo Mills, TX; five grandchidren; six great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Mary Harver, Jeanie Byerly,and Evelyn Mayes, all of Lexington; Olive Boyd of Grays Lake, IL; and Betty Lou Earwood of Murphy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and at other times at the home.
