Lois Lumsden

Lois Grubb Lumsden, 79, of Lexington NC, Churchland Community, died Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Brookstone Retirement Center in Lexington NC.

Born in Davidson County on January 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe B. Grubb and Irene McBride Grubb.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby Joe Lumsden of Lexington (married June 7, 1958), one daughter, Jill L. Koontz (Linn), two granddaughters, Tiffany Grubbs (Wayne), Brittany Koontz (Fiancé Kemp Smith) and five great grandchildren, all of Linwood, NC, a brother, Terry R. Grubb and niece Shannon Grubb of Concordia Missouri.

Mrs. Lumsden was employed at Duracell Battery in Lexington NC and was a member of Churchland Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington at 4 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2019 with the Rev. Robbie Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at the Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
