Lois Yarborough Marley

Lois Kathryn Yarborough Marley, 83 of Lakewood Drive, Lexington died Wednesday September 5, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, conducted by the Rev. Jim Martin. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Marley was born August 27, 1924 in Greenwood County SC, to Horace J. Yarborough and Blanche Scurry Yarborough. She retired from Lexington Memorial Hosptial as a Nurse after 30 years of service and later worked at Lexington Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jennings Marley, who died November 20, 1998; her brothers: Horace Yarborough, Hayne Yarborough, George Byrd Yarborough, and Kenneth Yarborough; and her sisters: Margaret Mitchell, and Blanche Robertson. Surviving are her sons: Jeffrey Jennings Marley, Steven Allan Marley, and Mark Howard Marley, all of Lexington; her daughter, Kathryn Marley Brazell and husband, John, of Charlotte; her grandchildren: Jeffrey Marley, Jr. of Lynchburg, VA, Tres Brazell of Boston, MA, and Seth Brazell of Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 310 S. Main St., Lexington NC 27292
