Lois Ann Owens Gray, 74, passed away on December 6th, 2025, in Davidson County. She was born in Cumberland County, Tennessee, on September 15, 1951. She was the cherished daughter of the late William Lewis Owens and Frances Josephine Jeffers Owens.

Lois lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and devotion to her family. She adored every moment spent with those she held dear, and her gentle nature made her a constant source of warmth and comfort. As a mother, she was steadfast, supportive, and endlessly nurturing; always ready with encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear.

Known for her deep appreciation of nature, Lois found joy in watching hummingsbirds dance through her yard and caring for her garden. Tulips were her favorite flower, especially the bright yellow ones that reflected her sunny spirit. Her home and heart were filled with the simple beauty she cultivated around her.

For over 54 years, Lois shared her life with her devoted husband and true soulmate, Joseph Wayne Gray. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and unwavering committment.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter, Marsha Gray.

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph; her daughter Christel Oody (Charlie); her son Joseph Wayne Gray II; three grandchildren: Ashley Walser, Meagan Hall, and Bella Oody; and her precious great-granddaughter, Veda. Each of them carries forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and love.

Lois will be remembered always for her gentle heart, devotion to family, and the beauty she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
