Lois Ann Shaw

Lois Ann Jones Shaw, 67, of Hannah Ferry Road in Linwood, died Thursday February 20, 2014 at Rowan Regional Hospital in Salisbury. A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at Higher Ground Baptist Church where she was a member. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Mrs. Shaw was born April 22, 1946, in Franklin Virginia, to Rachel Thurman Myers. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sidney Allen Jones and Wayne Spradlin. Surviving is her husband Edward Thomas Shaw of the home, four sons; Tracy Shaw, Steven Shaw and wife Kayla both of Lexington, Dwayne Shaw and wife Teresa of Fayetteville NC. and Randy Shaw of Puerto Rico; six brothers, Billy Jones and wife Janelle of Lexington, Tony Clayton Britt and wife Debbie, Jerry Spradlin, Michael Spradlin, Roger Spradlin, Timmy Spradlin all of Virginia; four sisters, Debbie Allen and husband Hugh of Lexington and Tammy Lea Britt of Winston Salem, Bonnie Gillespie and Sharon Akers; ten grandchildren, Rusty Shaw, Aidan Shaw, hayden Shaw, Tyler, Shaw, James Dean Shaw, Alexius Shaw, Leslie Shaw, Joelle Shaw, Gabrielle Shaw; and one great-grandchild, Sally.
