Lola Adcock

Lola Chessie Walker Adcock, 79, of Sink Inn Road, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at her home after declining health for several years. A Service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday November 3, 2007 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel of Light with entombment to follow. Officating will be Rev. Clyde Akers. Mrs. Adcock was born February 28, 1928 in Ashe County to Harrison Walker and Bertha Greene Walker. She was a homemaker. Her parents and her husband Mack Adcock preceded her in death. Two sons, Billy Lee Alman and Robert Allen Alman also preceded her in death. Surviving are her son Kenneth Morgan and his wife Judy of Monroe Michigan. Daughters in Law: Dorothy Alman Penwell and Paula Alman: 3 Grandsons, 1 Grand Daughter and 4 Great Grand Children: 1 Sister, Lola Mae Moretz of Lexington and 1 Brother, Willard Walker of Purlear, NC. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive including Gladys Moretz of Linwood, Nora Faye Robertson, Barbara Kepley and Gail Ford all of Lexington and Linda Pierce of Mocksville. The Family will receive friends Friday Night from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at their respective homes.
