Lola Mize Huffman

Lola Mize Huffman, 84, of SunBridge of Lexington, formerly of West Center Street Extension, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at SunBridge. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Edgar Armfield. Mrs. Huffman was born in Davidson County on Feb. 27, 1922, to George Henderson Mize and Drucilla Hanes Mize. She was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Ward Huffman, who died in 1994; four sisters, Lillie Sink, Callie Podgaysky, Mary Sink and Louise Curry; and four brothers, Joe Mize, Ray Mize, Howard Mize and George Mize. Surviving are two sisters, Edith Sowers and Drucilla Everhart, both of Lexington, and several nieces and nephews.
