Lonnie V. Hege

Lonnie V. Hege, 75, of W. Center Street Ex., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, with family by his side.   A memorial service to honor Lonnie will be held 2pm Tuesday, April 23 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Revs. David Kelley and Tyler Hege. Masonic Rites will follow.      The family will receive friends following the service in the church family life center.    Lonnie was born January, 23, 1944 in Davidson County to Paul Lee Hege and Alice Myrtle Walser Hege. He retired from PPG and was a member of the Lexington Masonic Lodge and an active member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.     He is survived by his wife, Martha Hedrick Hege of the home, his Mother; his daughter, Christy Hege Dyson, husband (Mike); his sons, Michael “Scott” Hege, Eric “Brian” Hege, and Allen “Brent” Hege, and fiancée, Gretchen Smith, all of Lexington, NC; his sisters Jeanette Hege and Shirley Bowers and husband, Bob, both of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Austin, Colton, Alec, Aidyn, Madison, Hunter, Avery and Alexandria, husband (Alexander), a niece, Miranda Proctor, husband (Sid) and nephew Jeff Bowers, wife (Catherine).     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292 or Shiloh United Methodist Church, 943 N NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.   The family would like to thank Dr. Phil Marks and his staff, and Heather Yates-Davis and the staff of Lexington Primary Care for their support and as well the staff of Hospice of Davidson County.
