Lonnie Hillard Warner

Lonnie Hillard, 88, of Lexington passed away Wednesday September 27, 2023 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Beck’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Sherrie Warner Cross anytime.

Mr. Warner was born July 1, 1935 in Davidson County to Stacy Ray and Bessie Viola Myers Warner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Janice Marie Briggs Warner and grandson Phillip Cross.

Surviving is his son, Dale Warner of Lexington; two daughters, Carol Warner Bell (Douglas) of Stanley, NC and Sherrie Warner Cross of Lexington, NC, 3 grandchildren; Ashley Fulp (Patrick), Rachel Bell, and Erin Bell; great-grandson Jameson Fulp; and sister-in-law Brenda Leonard (Billy) of Lexington.
