Lorene Clontz Hill, age 77, of West Fifth Avenue, formerly of Callahan Hill Road, Lexington died Sunday in Brian Center. Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday at No Creek Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Elder Eddie Fowler and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hill was born in Davidson County, August 1, 1930 to Baxter Augusta Clontz and Beulah Sigmon Clontz. She was a member of Churchland Baptist Church, a retired employee of Dixie Furniture, preceded in death by her parents, husband James Mock Hill in 1983, Sisters; Mildred Wyatt and Kathleen Poole, brothers; Elmer, Charles, Gilbert and Billy Clontz.
Surviving are: Daughters; Donna Walser and husband Butch of Sanford and Carolyn Hill of Lexington, Son; James Hill and wife Diane of Lexington, 6 Grandchildren; Kimberly Hill, Aimee Hill, Christopher Hill, Henry Walser, Donna Angela Walser and Heather Walser, and
5 Great Grandchildren, Sister; Nancy Clement of Lexington, Brothers; Paul Clontz, Bobby Clontz and Julian Clontz all of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home of daughter Carolyn Hill, 375 Sherman Drive, Lexington.
