Loretta Theresa Rubin

Loretta Theresa Rubin 79 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Riverview, Florida.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 21, 2017 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Father Paul Dechant officiating.  Burial will follow at the National Cemetery at Salisbury at 1:00 PM.   A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.   Loretta was born on December 23, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert Vincent Sapanara and Loretta Ann Sani Sapanara.  She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kernersville.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Sylvan Rubin who died on May 3, 2010.   She is survived by her sons and daughter as well a grandson and great-grandchildren.   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4 Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC  27407.   May she rest in peace.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
