Lorna Lowman Davis

Lorna Lowman Davis age 80 of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, May 14 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Oak Forest United Methodist Church with Pastor Darren Alexander. Burial will follow to New Home United Methodist Church in East Bend NC. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Lorna was born August 28, 1934 in Burke County to Loy Edward Lowman and Pearl Stillwell Lowman. She was a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, three deceased brothers, and three deceased sisters. Surviving are her husband Joe Bill Davis of the home, daughters, Joette Davis Harrington (Rich) of Naperville, IL, Cynthia Rosette Davis of Winston-Salem; brothers, Howard Lowman (Joyce) of Lenoir, Ben Lowman (Ruth) of Connelly Springs, NC, Alan Lowman of Lenoir; a sister, Rebecca MacNeilage of Lexington; two grandchildren, Justin Edward Blanchard and Jordan Pierce Blanchard.
