Lorraine Surratt Burke

Lorraine Surratt Burke, 65, of George Surratt Road in Lexington, died Monday March 4, 2013 at her home. A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date Mrs. Burke was born December 16, 1947 in Davidson County to George Lee Surratt and Margaret Phelps Surratt. She attended Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Karen Walton, one brother Lonnie Rayvon Surratt and two sisters; Jayne Walser and Doris Everhart. Surviving are four brothers; Robert Surratt, Jerry Surratt and wife Betty and Randy Surratt all of Lexington, and Jimmy Surratt and wife Sue of Oklahoma, four sisters; Leigh Ann DelGuerico and husband Tony of Pennsylvania, Hazel Shook and husband Bill of Delaware, Camelyn Surratt of Thomasville and Sylvia Surratt of Lexington, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
