Lorraine Beck Crotts

Lorraine Beck Crotts 85 died peacefully Sunday morning at home surrounded by her children and loved ones. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. C. M. Worthy and Rev. Chuck Ireson officiating. Lorraine was born in Davidson County on April 6, 1931 to John Edward Hill and Gladys Kearns Hill. She worked at Western Electric and was co-owner of Furniture Barn and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Benny Von Crotts (July 1, 2013); her son Kim Crotts and a brother, John Hill. Lorraine loved to travel with Benny. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved her church and Sunday school class and helped for many years those sick in her community. Surviving are two sons, Perry Crotts (Sherry) of Lexington, Stephen Von Crotts of Midway; brother, Joe Morris (Charlene) of Lexington, sisters, Joy Everhart, Joyce Lucas (Ed), Sue Bowman (Woody) all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Seth (Beth), Nathan, Rachael (Zach), Olivia, Landon; one great grandchild, Summer.
