Lorraine Garner Weaver

Lorraine Garner Weaver, 80, of Burkhart Road, died Saturday, January 7 at Forsyth Medical Center.   A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 11 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Alan Hutchens. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.   Mrs. Weaver was born July 19, 1936 in Davidson County to Charlie and Jessie Parks Garner.  She retired from PPG and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ.  Her brother, Dale Garner, and her sisters, Evelyn Hanes, Nadine Leonard, and Sandra Swing, preceded her in death.     She is survived by her husband, Billy Lloyd Weaver of the home; her son, Perry Weaver of Lexington; her daughter, Tia Nobels and husband, Terry, of Elizabeth City; her brother, Fred Garner and wife, Nancy, of Lexington; her sisters, Marjorie Broadway and Betty Ball, both of Lexington; and Carnell Ferrell of Wallburg; her granddaughter, Chrissie Weaver; and two great-grandchildren, Xaviel Spivey and Jewel Spivey.   Memorials may be made to Christ United Church of Christ, General Fund, 4 Price Rd, Lexington NC 27292.
