Lorrena Ann Gilmore

Lorrena Ann Brockwell Gilmore, 62, of Healy Drive, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center.  A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Sandy Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Jeffrey Hoffner officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service.  Ms. Gilmore was born August 4, 1954, in Orange County, to Charles Manley Brockwell and Doris Scott Newcomb. She was employed at K&W Cafeteria as a pie maker and of the Lutheran faith. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Freddie Williams.  Surviving in addition to her mother of Lexington and her stepfather, Charles Newcomb of Lexington; brother, Dewey Brockwell of Hillsborough; sisters, Annitta Crook and Sherri Curry and husband Bobby, all of Lexington; nieces, Kortnie  Curry and Amber Hartman; nephew, Scott Crook; and special friend, Dianne Hull of Lexington.
