Louise Byerly

Betty Louise Byerly, 78, of C.J. Lane, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Brian Center Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Friendship United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Carroll Lupton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Byerly was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Davidson County to Charlie Jerome Byerly and Betty Miller Byerly. She was retired from Lexington Home Brands Plant No. 1. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lori Byerly; five brothers, Clyde Byerly, Harvey Byerly, Early Byerly, Herman Byerly and Joe Byerly; and a sister, Nora Hinkle. Surviving are one son, James Byerly and his wife, Jeannie, of Lexington; one grandchild, Gregory Byerly and his wife, Karen, of Lexington; one great-grandson, Caleb Byerly of Lexington; and one sister, Ruth Perryman of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
