Louise Owens Clifton

Louise Owens Clifton, 89, of City Lake Road, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Kingwood Medical Center, Kingwood, Texas. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Arnold Gosnell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Clifton was born December 10, 1921, in Davidson County, to William McKinley Owens and Allie Mae Stewart Owens. She was a former employee of Casa Bisque. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Berkley Clifton. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy C. Pugh and husband, Fred, of Kingwood, Texas; three grandchildren, Tom Ridge and wife, Chasity, of Denver, Co., Anna Green and husband, Josh, of Burlington, and Leigh Pugh and J.C. Wingard, of Houston, Texas; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 902 South Main Street, Lexington, NC 27292.
