Louise Driver

Louise Meredith Driver, age 75, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lexington Health Care.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Rev. Doug McGee officiating. A private burial will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Driver was born in Davidson County on April 9, 1944 to Fred English Meredith, Sr. and Cora Louise Lamb Lanier. She was a retired production manager, having worked for Owens Brockway. Mrs. Driver was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Meredith.

Surviving are her husband, David Tilden Driver, Jr; her two sons, David T. Driver III of Lexington and Michael K. Driver (Cristi) of Greensboro; one brother, Fred E. Meredith Jr. (Diane) of Trinity; one sister, Brenda Stoneman (Clarence) of High Point; and two grandchildren, Lucy Driver and Lily Driver.
