Louise Everhart

Louise Owens Everhart, 85, of Pine Ridge Road, died Friday December 13, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday December 17, 2013, at Beulah United Church of Christ, where she was a member. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 Tuesday, prior to the service at the Church fellowship hall. Mrs. Everhart was born May 1, 1928 in Davidson County to James Cleveland “Babe” Owens and Annie Beck Owens. She was retired from Welcome Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bryce Fletcher Everhart. Surviving is a son, Perry Everhart of Lexington, a daughter, Lisa Hodges of Lexington, and a brother, Jerry Owens and wife, Ollie, of Lexington and two grandchildren, Drew and Eric Hodges.
