Louise Berrier Floyd

Louise Berrier Floyd, age 89, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Tussey Road, passed away Wednesday morning, July 25, 2012 at Lexington Health Care. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Morasco officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.   The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.   Louise was born in Davidson County, June 25, 1923 to Cicero Adam Berrier and Della Evans Berrier. She was a homemaker; member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school; assisted with youth fellowship and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother’s Claude, Bruce, Hubert and Paul Berrier.   Louise is survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul E. Floyd of the home; daughter, Cindy Floyd Brock and husband Donald of Jamestown; son, Paul Steven Floyd of Lexington; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bobbie Hinkle and nieces and nephews.   Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
